Dr. Ralf Otte ist Ingenieur und Professor für Industrieautomatisierung und Künstliche Intelligenz an der Technischen Hochschule Ulm. Seit 30 Jahren arbeitet er an KI-Projekten in Industrie und Gesellschaft. Sein heutiger Arbeitsschwerpunkt liegt in der Erforschung von Bewusstsein, insbesondere von Bewusstseinsphänomenen auf neuromorphen Maschinen. Wichtige technische Anwendungen für etwaiges "Maschinenbewusstsein" finden sich im Bereich Small Data und Maschinelles Sehen.

Dr. Ralf Otte is an engineer and professor of industrial automation and artificial intelligence at Ulm University of Applied Sciences. He has been working on AI projects in industry and society for 30 years. His current work focuses on researching consciousness, in particular artificial consciousness on neuromorphic machines. Technical applications for such "machine consciousness" can be found in the field of Small Data and Computer Vision.
